FAQ (Parents)

  • Is this safe? Yes. Progressive programming, spotting standards, and coach oversight. As with any form of exercise, there is an inherent risk of injury. Physicians should be consulted with any health concerns prior to attendance.
  • Is this sport‑specific? We build universal athletic qualities that transfer to every sport. The more athletes continue with programming, the more specific we make it to their goals. We start with a foundation, then branch off in the direction best suited for each athlete
  • How often should my athlete train? 2–4×/week, depending on schedule. This can be addressed on a case by case basis for each athlete
  • What if they miss? The beauty of this membership is it is "Come as you please". The program will be running for all athletes regardless of attendance - we use TeamBuildr to deliver and track all workouts so if an athlete is traveling or missing a few sessions, they can stay on track.
  • Will I see results? Testing every 8 weeks with shared reports. Every test will be tracked through our VALD Hub, which participants will receive access to after initial sign up.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

SMARTER TRAINING for HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES

Our monthly high school strength and conditioning program builds college‑ready athleticism through a simple, repeatable rhythm that blends speed, power, and total‑body strength. Built on a six‑day rotation and organized as three primary training days per week (with an optional fourth), the plan prioritizes acceleration and max‑velocity sprint mechanics, change‑of‑direction and agility, jump/plyometric power, and foundational lifts—without guesswork.

Each session (60–90 minutes) follows a proven system: dynamic warm‑up and mobility; landing mechanics and stiffness; a speed or COD emphasis; a primary strength block; targeted accessories and core; and brief recovery education. Clear exercise standards and coaching cues emphasize bracing, posture, and safe progressions so athletes build resilient tissue capacity while improving times and jumps.

Built for serious high‑school athletes balancing school, practice, and travel, the structure provides schedule flexibility and consistent exposure to the qualities that matter most. Weekly touchpoints keep athletes accountable, and a competitive community encourages PRs without sacrificing technique.

We track results on an 8‑week cadence so your progress is visible. The testing battery covers strength, speed, power and movement quality.

Our testing gambit includes:
